Sharon and Carl Richardson

QTH (My Home)

I live In Northeast Arkansas in the Ozark Foothills with my beautiful wife Sharon. I live a few short Miles west of Lake Charles State Park. I am involved in what many refer to as a hobby, I myself think of it more as a job, and I take it very serious. We provide emergency communication during times of disaster when all other modes of communication have failed. Arkansas depends greatly on the amateur radio service for emergency communication. They are dependent upon our training and qualifications to get the job done right. I would recommend this hobby to all that are interested in helping in your community or on a national level during times of emergencies such as Tornados, Hurricanes, Title waves, Earthquakes, Volcanoes and other natural and man made disasters. When your not taking part in emergency communications you can meet many interesting people around the word on the H.F. bands.
